Alternative Funding
Throughout the years the industry (as well as the economy) has evolved-and so have we. By offering competitive prices and a number of different financial options we have been able to help our students get on their road to success. U.S. Truck Driver Training School is approved to accept grants from Michigan Works, No Worker Left Behind Program, Michigan Rehabilitation and the Veterans Administration. We also provide training to employees of GM, Ford and Chrysler through the Tuition Assistance Program (TAP). If a student does not qualify for funding under these programs we have affordable alternative financing for everyone. We also offer housing and transportation for out of area students.
Virtual Shifting
In 2002
we were the first school to invest in tractor-trailer simulators. Our state of the art shifting simulators teach students how to navigate through the standard nine and ten speed shifting patterns. This greatly increases a student’s skills and awareness before they begin on the road training. It also improves a student’s confidence, which is a crucial attribute of a successful driver.

We will always be here to help you find and maintain employment in the trucking industry. We also notify our experienced graduates about new and exciting opportunities in the trucking industry.
By opportunities we mean a chance to substantially increase their net worth. In addition to our job placement services offered through our school for entry level drivers, we have also created a sister company, Diversified Driver Resources which specializes in placing experienced drivers with trucking companies. Drivers with one or more years of experience can utilize the placement services of DDR to become employed with top quality local, regional and over the road companies. DDR also helps experienced drivers get involved with lease and owner operator opportunities which are offered by many trucking companies. Lease and owner operators can earn $100,000 to $150,000 per year.
One on One training!
At U.S. Truck Driver Training School our students will experience the highest standard of professional training available in the trucking industry today.
While attending our school a student will have the opportunity to be assigned his/her own private instructor and truck periodically throughout the training program. This custom one on one training enables us to monitor each student’s progress to guarantee that they are moving in a positive direction.
Hands on class room training
Our classroom includes a hands on computer based training system called the Classroom Performance System (CPS). Each student is provided with a wireless remote which is linked to an interactive projection screen. This allows the student to work at his/her own pace and also allows us to manage the student’s classroom progress. This system helps us identify if a student has a specific area that he/she may need help with. This allows the student to obtain the knowledge that is necessary for their success.
